I'm at that point of the month between pay days when I have more month at the end of my money than I'd really like. Yesterday, I went out at lunch time and tried not to spend any money, all I needed was a yoghurt for lunch, so naturally when I went to Asda the first thing I did was have a nose at the sale rail in the entrance. I fell for the oldest trick in the book, just like the people who smell bread and head straight for the bakery section.
I bought this dress it wasn't my size but it was only £8, I couldn't leave it in the shop could I? Well actually, I could have done, considering my clothes no longer fit in my wardrobe or drawers the best thing for me to do would have been to leave it in the shop.
When I put it on this morning as I looked down to check the fit I noticed it was a wrap over style. As I put my jacket on when I was leaving the house I noticed it had a cowl neck. Two of the features listed on that link yet I'd noticed neither when I bought it. Does it redeem me at all that I did actually notice the zips on the shoulders when I bought it? No, thought not.
Oh and that cowl neck, I didn't know about? Yeah it's full of mineral foundation now. Maybe if I'd realised it was there I'd have been more careful putting my make up on.
Now, all I need to do is get through this week spending as little as I can. It's not going to happen, I know that already.
